refund & return policy

overview
we want you to love what you wear. if something isn't right, here's exactly how returns, exchanges and refunds work.
return window
you may request a refund within 1 day of delivery. exchanges are accepted within 5 days of delivery. requests outside these windows cannot be processed.
condition of items
items must be returned unworn, unwashed, undamaged and in their original packaging with all tags intact. items showing signs of wear, alteration, perfume, makeup or smoke will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your cost.
non-returnable items
the following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- made-to-order or custom pieces
- items marked "final sale" at checkout
- discounted items above 30% off
- intimates, swimwear and accessories for hygiene reasons
- gift cards
how to request a return
email hello@bysocialproof.com with your order number, the item(s) you'd like to return, and the reason. we'll reply within 1–2 business days with return instructions and the address.
shipping costs
damaged or incorrect items: we cover return shipping in full.
change of mind: return shipping is at your cost. original shipping fees are non-refundable.

refund processing
once we receive and inspect your return, we'll notify you of approval. approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–14 business days. depending on your bank, it may take additional time to appear on your statement. we do not offer cash refunds.
exchanges
exchanges are subject to availability. if the requested size or piece is out of stock, we'll issue a refund instead.
damaged or wrong items
if your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos. we'll arrange a replacement or full refund — including all shipping costs — at no charge to you.
cancellations
orders can be cancelled for a full refund before they are shipped. once an order has shipped, our standard return policy applies.
international orders
customs duties, taxes and import fees on international orders are non-refundable. for international returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping and any associated fees.
